Now can we all learn to use the [ur l] tags so that things open in new windows? THANKS!

I'm piecing a new computer together (my first build from ground up :D ), got the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400 (budget) for the CPU and taking my 8800GTS out of my current tower.

Nice choice of case, Frag, I've heard awesome things about the 900. Most people seem to like it.

if i recall correctly there was an issue with the back plate on the back of the Antec 900 a guy i know was talking about, like it was in the way or too small or something. but other than that they're great cases.

Was the issue with the plate that goes over the ports for the mobo? Or a different thing?

I'm defiantly going to take my time and try to to break anything :P

Umm, screw that. Real hardware will stand up to a sound beating. I recommend dropping all the components on the ground prior to installation, and jumping up and down on the case a few times to test structural integrity. Better safe than sorry, right? If it fails, just RMA that shit.

i think it had to do with one of the PCI slots, either the top or bottom most one.

Even if it's not, you can always just return it.

Well, took about 2 hours to build, not bad for my first time building from ground up. :P

I got the case 1 hour before work started on it, then went to work, and finished it. Installed Vista and I'm currently doing Windows Updates, then I have to talk my parents into using their AV program before the old one is expired...

This case is really nice, although not a good option for SLI (wasn't planning on it in the first place...) The PSU is on the bottom so there is literally less then a 1/4 inch of space between the 2nd VC and the PSU, not a good combo IMO.

This thing is a wiring mess...my mobo's pwr and restart button etc, are across the thing so its a little tricky to wire the thing and still have decent amount of room. My CPU runs around 40C so thats nice, and thats with all the fans on low. :D

My restart button doesn't work because I think I snapped a pin out, but I'm not totally worried about that. :P

Very nice, Frag.

Doesn't the Antec 900 have holes in the motherboard tray for you to route wires behind the tray for better cable management? Hmm, maybe I'm thinking of another case.

Wiring is an art. Use cable ties and tubes. 8) I've built WAY over a thousand machines in my life. I am not even exaggerating. I worked for a local PC manufacturer, lol. We had strict guidelines and procedures to follow and it had to look very neat. Each person built a PC themselves, it wasn't assembly line.

Not saying my wiring job is great but its good enough to get by :P

And no there are not any guides for wires...with all the fans 2 on front, 1 on back 1 on top there is a bunch of things to connect, and unfortunately there is no easy way...
